In the United States, they currently also use “TomTom: the number one-one GPS-S in the world-world”.TomTom units provide a flying interface with a bird’s-eye view of the road, as well as a direct-overhead map view. They use a GPS receiver to show the precise location and provide visual and spoken directions on how to drive to the chosen destination. Certain TomTom systems also integrate with mobile phones using Bluetooth, to show traffic congestion maps or to actually take calls and read aloud SMS messages. The company offers a line of fee-based services under the name TomTom PLUS, which include services to warn drivers about speed cameras, provide weather updates, change voices and provide traffic alerts.

I my opinion the tomtom is a lifesaver especially now with all the extra features and stuff.

A friend of mine was visiting some friends and familly  in Germany when his wife got sick in the car so with a little help of his tomtom he could easily find and drive to the nearest hospital on his way .

Getting lost isn’t what it used to be anymore because now i have my tomtom got it as an early christmas present, now when people tell me to get lost, i won’t because i have my hero TOMTOM right next to me.

Hyves is a free Dutch social networking site and has been online since October 2004.The focus of this website is on keeping in touch with existing friends and making new friends. There is no need to have knowledge of Html for creating a Hyve. Compared to other social networking sites as Facebook and MySpace, the audience of Hyves is younger. This results in incorrect working links and the slow loading from pages.

In my opinion it is a very great chance to keep in touch with your friends and making new friends, because you can see who are the friends of your friends and make contact with people who share the same interests like you. It has become so popular amongst students in the Netherlands that it even became a real word in the dictionary (according to the Telegraaf )
